Stuart James

Stuart is an ICT & Cybersecurity Manager of a large multinational IT firm, current Councillor and two-time Mayor at Monash Council, and sits on the Board of the Municipal Association of Victoria.

He is a passionate public transport advocate and is Chair of the Eastern Transport Coalition, serves on the Executive Committee of the Public Transport Users Association, is a past Committee member of the Metropolitan Transport Forum and has written numerous op-eds on transport.

He also serves on an Audit and Risk Committee, LGBTQIA+ Advisory Group and the Melbourne Cricket Club disciplinary committee. He has previously served on Boards at the Museum of Australian Photography and the Eastern Innovation Centre as well as a gender equity advisory committee.

Stuart is married with three daughters and a son, is a passionate sports fanatic, and coffee snob.
